I begin with the first two keys:

1.   Authenticity

Called to behold You with an unveiled face, with authenticity and quality.

To see with no pretensions.

To be completely honest with You.

To be able to express doubt and anger.

To be known as I am known

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

The New International Version. (2011). (1 Co 13:12). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan.

2. Conviction

An overwhelming belief that this is right because God says it is so.

Develop fixed and strong beliefs about the principles of Your Word.

Psalm 19:8–10 (NIV)

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.

You have the courage to stand up for your convictions in spite of current trend or criticism based on:

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

Tyndale House Publishers. (2015). Holy Bible: New Living Translation (Col 3:14). Carol Stream, IL: Tyndale House Publishers.

Love for others, including family, friends, and clients. Even your enemies.

Jesus says, “You can love, because I first loved you.” To experience that life is a quest. Jesus tells us in a myriad of ways. “You are worth everything to Me.”

  • Love is part of covering a hard truth with a blanket of mercy
  • Love is part of empathy and understanding
  • Love is part of a gentle touch
  • Sometimes love hurts
  • Sometimes love must wait
  • Giving without expecting response

I have experienced this through your ministry to me in the deaths of my mother, father and mother-in-law…

Thank you for helping through such difficult times

Love, Barbara
